Program Objectives: The University of South Florida’s theatre program prepares and inspires students for a career in theatre.
History: For over 50 years, our exclusively undergraduate program has developed critically aware and skilled theatre practitioners. Our mission is to educate students in the art of theatre, to conduct original research, and to engage the university and Tampa Bay communities through interesting and challenging productions.

Scholarships and/or Assistantships: Committed to helping aspiring dance and theatre artists pursue your goals, we offer a variety of merit-based awards and scholarships for incoming and current students. Eligible students are contacted by the school. Students also have financial aid opportunities through the College of The Arts and the USF Scholarships & Financial Aid Services. All declared theatre majors are eligible for scholarship and assistantship consideration. The theatre faculty determines the allocation of scholarships, unless where noted.
