A Legacy of Excellence: Our esteemed alumni have earned an impressive 112 Oscar®, 356 Emmy®, and 110 Tony® nominations. Dive deep into the process and preparation to connect with the heart of a story and evoke authentic emotions. Impact Generations: When acting is taught as a craft, it has the power to captivate audiences and shape culture for years to come.
Facilities, Classrooms, and Theatres: At AADA, we have the privilege of being situated at the very pulse of two iconic cities. Our Midtown Manhattan location boasts a historic landmark building equipped with three theaters, an extensive performing arts library, and a multitude of classrooms and studios. Our Los Angeles Campus is strategically placed just off Sunset Boulevard, right by the famed Hollywood Walk of Fame, where over 40 AADA alumni have earned their stars. This historical campus is situated on the grounds of the former Charlie Chaplin Studios south lot, housing various buildings, including a theater, multiple classrooms, studio spaces, and a performing arts library that once hosted Chaplin himself.
Scholarships and/or Assistantships: Over 95% of Academy students receive financial aid in the form of need-based and merit scholarships, as well as aid qualified through the FAFSA. AADA is a nationally and regionally accredited not-for-profit institution of higher education.
