History: Greensboro College is now in its 184th year of Academic Excellence. The Theatre Department produces a Main Stage Season of 6-14 productions each academic year.  We will always produce at least Two Musicals in every season - we have been known to do more. The average class size on campus is ten, offering our students one-to-one attention from Professors all across the campus. We have the largest scene shop in the state. We do not have a Graduate Program in Theatre, so our majors are not being taught by Graduate Students, and they are not competing with Graduate Students for Roles or Design Assignments. The Theatre Faculty is made up of working theatre professionals - all of whom continue to practice their craft.
Facilities, Classrooms, and Theatres: Three Performance spaces available as well as many "Found Spaces" on campus
Scholarships and/or Assistantships: Scholarships are awarded after the audition process.
