History: Florida School of the Arts at St. Johns River State College offers a small, immersive arts college experience for students pursuing their passion for creativity. The Associate in Science degree focuses on a strong foundational set of knowledge and skills that provide students the building blocks to pursue a career in their chosen field. Located in the historic northeast town of Palatka, Florida School of the Arts is designed to be an intimate setting where visual and performing arts students receive individual attention from staff and faculty who are dedicated to student success. 
Facilities, Classrooms, and Theatres: Our facilities include a 480-seat auditorium, fully equipped scene and costume shops, music theory lab, two dance studios, stage management lab, studio theater, fine art gallery, painting studio, photography studio, darkroom facilities, printmaking studio, 3D lab for woodworking, welding and ceramics, and a fully equipped Mac computer lab.
Scholarships and/or Assistantships: Florida School of the Arts offers scholarships for students pursuing an Associate in Science degree in their chosen discipline.
